Visa Malaysia required support to develop a community engagement plan to enhance financial literacy amongst mainly young people.
Working with our partners, Ruder Finn Malaysia, we developed a comprehensive campaign Treat Your Money Right. It involved:
- A survey of Malaysians to determine the level of financial knowledge
- A major media launch that resulted in significant media radio, newspaper, and television digital news coverage
- Engagement by key Instagram influencers
- A microsite and an online game to engage with Malaysians and help improve the financial literacy outcomes of the campaign
The campaign succeeded in gaining widespread media interest and community engagement via the microsite and online game as well as from the social media influencers.
